Enter the romance of glam rock and French Monsieurs through the eyes of Lanvin’s menswear designer Lucas Ossendrijver. Playing with opposites, with touches of both sculptural and rounded shapes, the Dutch-born designer is changing the perception of the House’s identity, trying to establish an identity of a well suited man. Re-inventing the perception of the nerd, Ossendrijver is bringing them back with a plan of attack; erasing what’s obvious in a strict self-editing process and then a little ‘shine.’ With a comical take on window dressing and his adoration for fans wearing his designs, Ossendrijver opens up, reflecting on the strange romance he created this season.
