An ocean of possibilities lies open before her, beckoning her to ride once more into the sea. She rides off, falling deep in stride, to a place she calls home. A last look before Autumn sweeps in, Morani’s film for Antonio Marras is a woman’s unconscious journey into sea, along the shoreline, and over the waves; a picturesque ode to the weightlessness and fluidity of the designer’s current Spring/Summer 2011 collection. Morani began as a video artist creating a directional duo with photographer Angelo Cricchi. Together the pair has delved into art projects, producing several fashion films showcased at the Centre Pompidour, Masedu Museum, and Alta Roma.
