Thrillingly high and compellingly emotional, the voice of the countertenor Anthony Roth Costanzo shocks and delights. At 13, he made his debut as Miles in Benjamin Britten's The Turn of the Screw, beginning a life-long love with the operatic form. His repertoire includes classic countertenor roles ranging from the eerie to the heroic, the Baroque to the modern. In 2009 he won the Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions, paving the way for his debut with the company in the 2011-12 season.
